The Account Manager – Interactive Services is responsible for assisting the Senior Director in all aspects of sales. Knowing in detail all of our consumer email files and the operations that go behind them, being able to put together proposals and presentations and having a complete understanding of how our data is built.
Essential Job Functions:
* Handles incoming calls about our consumer email files
* Supports all internal sales reps with managed consumer email list sales.
* Penetrates existing accounts with cross sell and up-sell tactics to grow existing business.
* Prepares proposals and answers RFP’s as they come in.
* Coordinates all internal jobs to the production team.
* Supplies reports and sales tools to better understand our business.
* Updates salesforce.com with new accounts and keeps current accounts active.
* Communicates with existing clients on a regular basis.
* Attends trade shows and client visits when needed.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
Extremely Organized
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong ability to work in a fast pace, busy environment
Strong communication skills
Thorough knowledge of direct marketing in both the off line and on line space.
Flexible, confident, goal oriented with the ability to handle many priorities and projects.
Is successful in identifying opportunities to expand sales by recommending alternative solutions to clients
Is able to successfully train co-workers to improve their performance
Work proposed office hours expected
Education and Experience:
College degree, marketing preferred
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Salesforce)
5+ years experience in direct marketing
